"There were a variety of different places to stay on the property. You could stay in the rooms in the hotel, in small tiny cabins, or in an RV. Our RV was exceptionally clean. It was a tiny bit dated but served the purpose for one night. It is very close to the sand dunes (it took us about 10 minutes to get out there), and you can see them very well from the lodge. They say the sunsets from the lodge are really pretty overlooking the dunes. They rent the sleds that you use to slide down the sand dunes right on the property, so that made it very convenient.They were very organized. She had our key in an envelope with directions on exactly how to get to our RV, and she had it pinned to the bulletin board right beside the office door. In case you get there past check-in time, that's where you will find your key."

"Unique camping experience near the Great Sand Dunes. Spacious canvas tents with beds. Friendly staff. We loved the community bonfire and s’mores in the evenings. The to-go lunch packs and grill packs were great meal options. They have sand sled rentals. Our family really enjoyed our stay."

"I loved this property! Very clean and has an amazing view of the Dunes. the kitchen has everything you need. Love the deck and ability to use the grill. Great proximity to the park, off roading, and hikes. Wish we could have had the night sky but it was stormy. We still had amazing sunsets!"

"We really loved our stay here. The house is very clean and comfortable inside and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking and dining equipment. My parents are elderly and they enjoyed the comfortable beds. The house is surrounded by nature and wilderness."
