The recently renovated ranch house combines a modern cozy design together with many of Cowboy Ed’s original art installations, each with a story. Explore the grounds and connect with nature and wildlife. Take a hike among desert blooms. Look for birds including Quail and Red Tail Hawks. Listen for coyotes at night while stargazing into the Milky Way galaxy.

HORSES: Trail and ride with your horse family to the ranch is permitted. Please inquire for details and additional fees may apply.
PET RULES: If you'd like to leave your dog at the ranch unattended, please bring a dog crate. Dog waste must be disposed of in the metal trash can.

A wonderful stay in Morongo Valley

We absolutely adored the Rancho Contento. The kitchen was well stocked with some amazing touches like fresh eggs from the onsite chicken coop. Dori was nice enough to give us a tour of the coop, which I highly recommend if she's available. Our only regret during the trip was not getting to spend more time at the ranch. My family loved it. Would stay again!
