"I planned a getaway with my dad during a low-season Thursday–Friday, specifically choosing a time when the hotel would not be busy. Despite this, the experience was very disappointing. Months in advance, I requested 2 ground-floor rooms next to each other due to my father being elderly and having difficulty with stairs. I was assured this would be arranged. Upon arrival, we were told our rooms were on the second floor, & there are no elevators on the property for customer use. Given that the hotel was not full, this felt entirely avoidable. The front desk acknowledged part of my request but claimed there was no record of the ground-floor requirement, despite my clear communication. We were also informed at check-in that water would be shut off from 11 PM to 6 AM, which had not been disclosed beforehand. This was especially frustrating given a previous stay where gfs & I encountered a room with a strong odor (due to water tank issues) and were moved to a second room that was not clean. We were told this would be noted and that future visits would be handled with extra care. I mentioned this again when booking, but no effort was made to improve our experience. What should have been a smooth, relaxing stay became unnecessarily stressful, especially for my father. I cannot recommend this hotel based on these experiences."

"I was looking forward to a pool day with my daughter. The pool was crowded and understaffed. I had to wait 3 hours for my room. I wouldn’t stay here. "

"We made reservations at Ace because they advertise that they have an all adult pool area on the weekends, Fri-Sunday. In fact, it is stated in the pool area. The jacuzzi was over run with kids and the pool at 9pm Sunday evening. We had spent most of our day hiking, so we were looking forward to adult libation, music and no children. Very disappointing. We had no hot water in our room Monday morning, so cold showers for all and my daughter cut her foot on broken glass on our patio. To say our stay was disappointing is an understatement. I have stayed in much nicer resorts for the same price. Don’t waste your money. The one plus, beds were extremely comfortable, the reason why I didn’t give a poor rating in all areas."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I feel strongly that people need to be warned about this property. We arrived expecting a relaxing Palm Springs stay based on the photos, and what we found was completely unacceptable. The grounds were poorly maintained and full of weeds, giving the entire place an abandoned and unsafe feel. Our room smelled strongly of mold, and the floors were damp, which raised serious concerns about cleanliness. The pool area, which should be a highlight in Palm Springs, was honestly shocking. The cushions were ripped, rotting, and visibly dirty. The pool itself looked unclean and not usable. The overall condition of the property felt neglected and unsettling. We were so uncomfortable that we chose to leave immediately and did not stay the night. To make matters worse, the hotel refused to provide any refund despite the conditions being far below what was advertised. The photos online are extremely misleading and do not reflect reality at all. I would strongly advise others to avoid this property. There are far better options in Palm Springs that are clean, safe, and accurately represented"
