"We had an amazing week at MooseHoek. The location was exactly what we were looking for—quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. Boat traffic on the lake was minimal, with only the occasional fishing boat, making it one of the most relaxing lakefront properties we've stayed at. The cabin is secluded but not isolated. It's about a 7-minute drive off the main road on well-maintained dirt roads, with friendly neighbors on both sides who made us feel welcome. The entire area was much quieter and had far less traffic than other lake towns we've visited, which we really appreciated. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed for the week. The location was also perfect for exploring the region. Rangeley, Oquossoc, Saddleback, and even the Canadian border were all easy day trips. The rental company was excellent to work with and always available if we had questions. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay at MooseHoek again."

"We enjoyed another fine Maine week at Summers Cottage on Bald Mountain Road, despite a strong storm and gusty winds. The cottage did its job of providing a pleasurable place for the family to gather, relax, enjoy the lake, and plot excursions to other area points of interest. Cottage improvements were obvious and appreciated; made the stay more enjoyable. Thanks. We look forward to returning."

"We enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice. The kitchen was very well equipped and had plenty of condiments and spices. The furniture is beautiful. Perhaps the front is a work in progress but it looked quite messy. There is no place to put folded items of clothing on the first floor, ie shirts, socks, underwear. We slept on the main floor as my husband had difficulty walking and doing stairs. In all the vrbo’ we stayed in, there was a book to help guide your stay. This would’ve been helpful, not the management signs on the table."
