Climb the medieval castle tower for panoramic views of Lake Garda and surrounding vineyards producing excellent Bardolino wines. Join locals at the weekly market in Piazza Castello, then rent bikes to explore nearby Borghetto sul Mincio's ancient watermills.
This was a lovely hotel. It is right at the train station. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had black out curtains which was great. It is close to town and easily walkable. There’s a free bus to Gardaland which leaves right outside the hotel at the station. A lovely place to base ourselves and I would recommend this.

Hotel excellent make sure you get a room with a lake view. The vista was magnificent especially the sunset. On arriving we did our usual thing and asked the staff for restaurant recommendations. We went out early for diner as we were hungry unfortunately the recommended restaurants did not open until 6.45 / 7.00 ,
The only ones open had photographs of their meals in the shop fronts. We selected Valentinos.... worst meal ever... Stay away from restaurants with meal photos

Excellent hosts & the breakfast was amazing with delicious homemade savoury and sweet options. Restaurant has ambience overlooking Lake Garda with a magical terrace to relax in the warmer months. Located in old town Sirmione surrounded by shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

I thought the view from my hotel room was superb. The hotel was a bit out of the way from Desenzano town. To get to the pier it required a taxi or bus ride & walk 100m in the heat. Taxis were hard to come by at times. The staff did the best they could to search out taxis for me.
My hotel room was clean, spacious and well appointed. It was cleaned daily. The food staff were very helpful. I did think it a bit much to charge for water. I had to ask for tea making facilities. I enjoyed my stay...

This is definitely a four star hotel! The service we received was exceptional and we were even upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi because we arrived really early, which was very nice! The fitness room and spa was great. The scrambled eggs they serve for breakfast is probably one of the best eggs I've had in a long time! The bed was so comfortable that we didn't get out of bed until 11am one day and the bathroom was so clean that I didn't have to wear flip flops. The only bad thing is that public...

Great hotel right on the lake and in the middle of town. Service was top shelf, staff professional and very friendly and the restaurant was top quality and reasonably priced. Our only complaint would ne no coffee or tea making facility in the room, but this is probably normal for the area. Loads of bars and restaurants nearby and the ferry terminal is right across the street. Take notr that there is a street market on Tuesday from 9 till 2, so plan your visit to catch this.

The location of the hotel was ideal, we could walk to the lake, restaurants, shops. Very clean and comfortable. Our room for family of 4 was like a 2 bedroom, we were expecting 2 doubles in one room. Good breakfast to get you going. Highly recommend, this is a really good hotel.

A great place to relax. We had actually thought we would be closer to the central town..but if you want a tranquil, pampered relaxing place to stay you couldn't find much to criticize at this hotel. We were in Verona to see the sights so it does/can prove a bit expensive if you want to go in and out of town...you can acheive it for 2 euros one way on the local bus but you have to walk approx 3/4km back to the hotel..and need your phone map and a helpful bus driver to point you in the right...

The historic centre of Monzambano is built around its medieval castle, Castello di Monzambano, which stands prominently on a hill overlooking the Mincio River.
