If attending events at the Anfiteatro, wear tennis shoes and have a flashlight or enough battery on your phone for the flashlight. It is a straight, flat walk although too close to cars with an uneven sandy surface. The hotel pool was sparkling and lovely!"

Good breakfast in the morning and friendly and helpful staff."

"We had a lovely stay at the Francesco Heritage Hotel. The staff were very helpful and obliging unfortunately we did not get the room that was showing on the website even though I did check before arriving and the room we were given was not finished as there was a lot of tiling grouting and sealant that needed snagging. We did not have a mini bar to start with, but that was delivered after the first three days and there was no table or chair which was a bit inconvenient but otherwise the room was nice. Great location in the wonderful old town of Alghero."
