"This was our fifth hotel and best breakfast by far! But I have to say noise from the staircase and hallway is quite disturbing and water moving through the walls. Also wish room had a kettle or coffee maker! "

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property over Easter with sunshine every day. The surroundings are picturesque and so peaceful with amazing sea views and sunsets. The three docile donkeys add a touch of character and humour. The property was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The air conditioning units worked well for heating in the chillier Spring evenings. Hot water was always available on demand for showers or washing up. The property is situated in the hills between Alghero and Bosa, both fascintating to explore. We particularly enjoyed the Good Friday Easter parade in Bosa. The coastline in the area is spectacular and there is a sandy beach about 10 minutes drive from the property. There are many other beautiful coves and beaches in the area. Our hosts Leonardo and Teresa were incredibly helpful from the beginning but were so kind when we ran into a problem with our car keys. They responded immediately to our phone call and gave up their evening to take us to Alghero to search for them. We are so grateful for their generosity. It was great to have a go at practising our Italian and Teresa and Leonardo enjoyed chatting in a mixture of English and Italian. We unreservedly recommend this property. We have visited Italy many times but this was our first time in Sardinia. We were struck by the friendliness of the people and the beauty of their special island. "

The views from the pool are spectacular, whilst the pool itself is not heated this did not prove to be an issue. The sunsets are truly exceptional. Alghero is 25 mins down through the mountains It is a really lovely town with lots of history. "
