Bed and Breakfast in Montone

"This is a small hotel right in the middle of the old town so no big hills to climb to get into the centre. It’s a very old beautiful town with narrow streets and tall buildings. Therefore do not expect fantastic views from your room. The area is very quiet. The rooms are basic but clean and comfy. The bathroom is a little on the small side though with just enough room to turn on the spot. Perfect base for exploring the town."

"Everything was perfect. Customer service was everything. The classic room itself is slightly small, but a lovely big bathroom, and we were hoping for a view but understandably that would be the deluxe room. We used the spa amenities and it was pretty good for the price - recommended after a day or two of walking up and down the steep hills. Overall we will stay again. It was a beautiful hotel with lovely people working there, filled with so much history."

"The hotel itself is lovely. Bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel did communicate the off site parking arrangements but we had difficulty locating and navigating the underground escalators that connect the parking garage to street level by the hotel. Google maps does not work for this underground stretch. Street level walking is hilly."

"We stayed for 4 nights and were very satisfied. The location is great: just a minute’s walk from the bus terminal (perfect for our day trip to Assisi) and easy escalator access to the city center. Rooms were spacious for a European hotel, and the modern facilities are well-maintained. The included breakfast was satisfactory. Note that the gym and pool require an extra fee - I didn’t have time to use them anyway, but it was a bit surprising. "
