"Room with a view! Very nice! Contrary to some other reviews, our room was nicely clean nd the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very generous and tasty with a very attentive and friendly server. Strolled around and found a wonderful gourmet restaurant nearby on the main road with a view of the lake. Only drawback was, being a Friday night, the nearby outdoor bar was a little loud until around midnight. "

"We had two wonderful days at Hotel Kursaal. Bruno is the consummate host, and both his hotel and restaurant exceeded our expectations. The location is excellent, as it is an easy walk into town. The hotel is very well-maintained, and our room had a lovely view of serene Lake Trasimeno. "

"I am a British Traveller who was staying for 4 nights. The Hotel was super easy to find, is a fairly large complex. Lots of Parking, it did get busy on a Saturday night parking wise but still managed to find a space. Staff were super friendly and spoke good English, directions to my room were clear and information about the bar/restaurant were good. Both pool areas are well maintained and the bar has a good selection of drinks. The room was very clean and spacious although a little outdated,...

"Staff was not friendly nor unfriendly. Very limited dining options in the area and the facility was average in amenities but clean. Just okay. I noticed the towels are allowed to dry outside on the line which means no heat to sterilize the towels…thats a NO for me!"

"We stayed at Il Gabbiano whilst attending a family wedding at Castillo Borgia. The location was perfect, we could walk to the castle if needs be and very near to shuttle guests. The staff at Il Gabbiano were fantastic, really friendly and helpful. The pool was great. The rooms were clean - maybe could do with a bit better shower but over all good value. The restaurant and pizzeria were excellent. We had a wonderful 5 days thanks to Gianni and his staff. Would recommend. "

"We stayed at hotel La Vela while attending a wedding nearby. We were more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel itself. It was in an excellent location within the town, on a quiet street a couple of minutes walk from the historic center & lake. Rooms were clean with a balcony & nice bathroom & beds very comfortable.
