There is a somewhat narrow time window when staff are present to receive you, between 2:30 pm and 7 pm, unless you make specific arrangements with them. The room and bathroom were fine and there is a common area kitchen. If on foot, the location of the hotel within the walled historic city is fine, not far from the central square but up a hill. The food at the restraurant was superb and the pool divine on the hot Tuscan days! Easy to get to and a quick 30mins from Florence made it a wonderful choice. We both can't wait to be back!!
