"Hotel was under minor construction but didn’t affect our stay. We were on the 36th floor and the air conditioning had a hard time keeping up all week. It didn’t get under 70 in our room but also could lower the temp past 68. The king bed room was super small for 2 people plus luggage also. Our flight got cancelled so we were able to rebook in a different room on the third floor and it was great. More room and great air conditioning. The location was also a great. Super close to everything. The staff was super helpful and friendly as well. Would definitely stay again if I ever return to NYC!"

"It is an appealing, older, traditional hotel ideally located in the theater district only a block from times square. The room was well appointed and comfortable. There is a nice lounge on ground floor. The AC worked well and there was minimal street noise. There is no breakfast but a deli next to the hotel has a wide variety of chouices for breakfast at at reasonable price, A parking garage is conveniently located across the street."

Empire Hotel

"Stayed at the Empire Hotel last week for a week while I worked in Manhattan. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel lobby had lovely jazzy vibes. I asked for a quiet room as I needed good sleep to work and they provided the perfect room. It is perfectly located beside the Lincoln Centre and the subway is a 2 minute walk. I will stay again for sure."
