"Nice location in the National Park with a lot of history. We enjoyed the walks in the national park but also the history walking tour and the dinner restaurant. The rooms are simple with a great view. However, some things just need an investment in the rooms. The bathtub could do with a change and definitely the blow dryers as well. The blow dryer when using it, sounds like it could blow up in flames any time :).

"Loved the art deco ambience. Check in easy, offer to carry my bags up the stairs much appreciated, the free drink and meal discount persuaded me to eat-in and have an earlier night. With trains so convenient I will be back, rather than stay in town with much more exorbitant prices."

"The staff were amazing. Although the report is under renovations and our room type wasn’t available, they were more than accommodating and offered some refund plus late check out. Rooms were clean and comfortable, would stay again. Small take away on adjacent corner has excellent meals and also coffee at reasonable prives"

"Great location close to shops, beaches etc. Quiet leafy street. The studio is super cute, with a very comfy bed and pillows. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need for a short stay. The host was very accommodating and answered any questions. House puppy Molly was adorable. The fact that this space was pet-friendly was really important. Maybe a small space for dogs to toilet ( rather than having to go across the road would further improve the stay).
