Search Molphey hotels

The best time to visit Molphey is during the late spring (May to June) and early autumn (September to October).

During these months, the weather is pleasantly mild, with comfortable temperatures superb for exploring the Burgundy countryside. You'll avoid the hotter temperatures of mid-summer and the colder, sometimes damp, conditions of winter. The vineyards are either bursting with new growth or displaying their rich autumnal colours, making for picturesque scenery.

For those interested in outdoor activities like cycling or walking along the Canal du Nivernais, these shoulder seasons offer ideal conditions without the peak summer crowds. You'll find it easier to secure reservations at popular local restaurants and wineries, ensuring a more relaxed and enjoyable experience.

If you're particularly keen on wine tasting and vineyard tours, early autumn is exceptional as it often coincides with the grape harvest, offering a unique insight into the winemaking process.
