"This was a lovely hotel in Kandersteg. This is located beside the gondola station and the walking path for the hike to lake. There was a nice restaurant at the hotel that we had a great dinner at and the breakfast was very enjoyable. My family really enjoyed staying here and we would come back again!"

"Exceptionally helpful staff. Complimentary transfer from train station was appreciated valuable as it’s just beyond a short walk. Excellent included breakfasts. Beautiful and modern interior chalet style ambiance. Gorgeous views from room and main balcony. Superb cuisine at the casual restaurant with very good wine selections. Close to Gstaad. Visited in early fall but clearly a good option for ski season."

"Hotel Alpenhof is an excellent small alpine hotel. Our room was lovely, had a great view to the mountains, nice balcony and excellent beds. The hotel staff was most welcoming and friendly and went the extra mile to make us and our small dog feel comfortable during our whole stay. Thank you"
