"Great overall stay and very helpful staff"

FUJIYAMA INN CONIFER

10/10 Excellent

"Booked a room with a private onsen was the best decision I made. I got the opportunity to make a reservation for a bigger onsen for 30 min but I still preffered the onsen in my room."

Hakone Ashinoko Hanaori（ORIX HOTELS & RESORTS）

10/10 Excellent

"It has a quality 4-star feel. We did the 40-minute private onsen and had one in our room. The buffet, including all you can drink, had a good variety of Japanese and Western options. It’s close to the pirate ship and ropeway if interested. Otherwise, it’s remote, but that was important to us. We’ll be back."

Fujisan Station Hotel

8/10 Good

"Good location, close to everything. It was recently partially renovated, overall would stay again."

Highland Resort Hotel & Spa

8/10 Good

"The Hotel was very good for what it was… a dated 4 star theme park hotel. I booked the Mt Fuji view room but it was too cloudy to enjoy the view (no one’s fault) … the onsen was closed too which I might have missed a notification about. The room itself was well maintained, we had a sofa bed extended out for my daughter… so it was slightly cozy but comfortable. Importantly it was clean and everything worked like it should. We enjoyed the fact that it had private access to the Fuji Q theme park with discounted full-day passes. Staff were helpful, very good."
