The Watermark Hotel is really secluded, and at time of booking, I wanted a quiet place to enjoy some downtime from touring hectic mainland Japan. The check-in process was smooth and I was assigned to the second floor, which was the floor I wanted. The floor and the area were very quiet at night.
My room was large with a matching balcony that had a wonderful view westward. The bathroom was unique; it was three separate rooms. The shower room was great, as the shower head great pressure and the warm bidet is always nice in the morning.
The first and third nights I dined at the hotel restaurant, which I thought had good food that was reasonably priced. The next morning, I had paid the expensive price of 3,300 Yen for the breakfast buffet, which was decent, but found other local places to have breakfast on the other two mornings.
Although I the stay was decent, I don’t think I would stay here again, as it is just too secluded, and too dangerous to drive in the area after sunset.
