"The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. They also have ROKU tv which my daughters thought was great. The A/C has an energy saver that would not allow us to cool the room below a certain temp and we were hot at night. We spoke to the office and thought the energy saver was removed, but it wasn't. The bathroom smelled moldy - the shower curtain is too short and water spills out onto the floor and seeps into the tiles causing the smell."
Charming 1-bedroom condo in marvelous Marblehead with hidden patio

"This is a very cute historic building in a great location. The property was close to the ocean and the shopping district. It was an easy walk to restaurants, shopping and parks. A little further walking or a quick trip in the car gives you access to additional quaint shops and dining. Salem is adjacent and thus nearby for history buffs or access to the commuter train. The accommodations are well maintained, cheerful and comfortable. The bedroom was a bit tight, but the bed was comfortable . The kitchen is small but very functional. The living and dining areas are spacious, well furnished and comfortable . The closets are dark holes and could easily be finished for client’s comfort. The biggest issue was lack of parking. On street parking was sparse, making it difficult with available spaces not always nearby. Being a historic house, the stairwell was tricky bringing suitcases and supplies up and down the narrow spiral steps. Overall it was a great place to stay. I would not recommend it for the elderly nor young children."

"We stayed in the property for one night, so we were in and out. The house is older, but everything works great and it was super clean. The beds were very comfortable. The view from the back year/deck is simply amazing. The ocean, the lighthouse, the boats are just beautiful and is worth every bit of what we paid. I didn’t have a need to communicate with the host but all check in and check out directions were sufficient."
