"We loved it here. Such an amazing place. It’s remote, but the signage was good and our driver found it. Probably best to get there during the day. We took a chocolate making class and went on the night walk in the jungle. It is an eco resort, so don’t expect hot showers, which is usually a deal breaker for me. But the place was so nice we were very happy we stayed here. "
"Clean facilities, friendly staff, beautiful and well manicured garden. Perfect relaxing retreat and/or select from plenty of excursions available with expert guides.
I will definitely return. Highly recommended "
"Everything at the lodge was good but could have been great with improved communication. Our family of four arrived at the same time as a group and we were offered the options to joint their tours on an expedited schedule (four days of activities in two days). We joined them for the full day Napo tour and really enjoyed the day but we were very rushed and had no idea what activity was next. At the end of the day, the four of us were left alone at the river bank for 45 minutes waiting for he bus...

"These were the most amazing hosts we have ever had. The space was ultra clean, the balcony was just breathtaking and they even left a bowl of local fruit for us! We didn't have a plan to see the countryside, so they actually put us in their car and gave us one of the best tours I could have imagined. They truly went out of their way to make sure we encountered all the animals on our bucket list, and I cannot thank them enough. They even arranged transportation (Taxi) for us to get us back to Quito, because the bus ride to Tena was rough. lol Truly one of the best trips of my life, and I owe it all to the caring nature of Alex and Christiane."
"Its great place for amazon experience. Well maintained property. Rooms; dining area and bar are great. Loved it. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Getting to the place is not easy. Don’t follow google maps. Hotel has placed signs all over for directions. Dirt roads for about 10km. Call early so they will direct well. "
"The staff are incredibly rude here. We arrived and they said that we have booked a room with a shared bathroom (my booking made no mention of this) but she said they didn’t have any shared bathrooms left so she would put us in a private for one night and the next night we would need to swap. I made the booking months ago so it isn’t my fault they didn’t reserve the correct room for me so I refused to move for the inconvenience. Our Spanish limited and we were trying our best to communicate, also using Google translate where needed and the receptionist was smirking and laughing at us and very dismissive, asking another guest to translate instead. Overall, very rude! They charged an extra $5 per person for their tour to be in English. Breakfast is very basic and the terrace is run down and looks nothing like the photos. It’s far out of the centre (30 minute walk) and not safe to do without taxi. The WiFi is terrible.
Take your money somewhere else. "
