"The property is beautiful!! Very picturesque, a gorgeous chateau from the 14 hundreds with beautiful grounds. You wake up to a very relaxing view of field with horses. The pool was great for a relaxing afternoon in the summer heat. The access to the pool is through a charming secret cave. The antiquity of the place has its charms but also has it's faults. While the place went through renovations, they should replace the old carpet in the room and the old vinyl floor in the bathroom. They could also use higher quality bed linen (the bed linen was the quality of a very cheap AirBnB) , to give the place the final touch of finesse and luxury."

"I cannot recommend this manor enough! Aude and Rob are wonderful, kind, welcoming hosts. The property is a meticulously maintained 17th century royal estate, with horses and llamas and owls and giant sequoia trees and beaucoup French country charm! Every morning we were greeted with fresh bread from an award winning bakery, an assortment of homemade jams, hot coffee, orange juice, perfectly ripe fruit and a variety of French cheeses. Chateau de Royal, Clos Luce and the center of historic Amboise are within walking distance. If you are planning a trip to Amboise, you MUST stay here. If you are not planning a trip to Amboise, go ahead and plan one now."

"This is an amazing place to stay for any large families. Every detail is meticulously attended to enhance your experience and convenience. The place is air-conditioned and we were very cool in the peak of the heat wave of July 2026. The check-in process was very smooth and the host is very responsive and accommodating. The parking is the best that we’ve ever had at a stay, your vehicle is within 20 feet of the door and within the gate. The outdoor patio is a nice place to have a drink. There are multiple grocery stores within a five minute drive of the home, including a supermarket that rivals a super Walmart in the United States called E. Leclerc. For those needing a taste of America, McDonald’s is there as well. You are 1.3 miles from the center of Amboise. An easy walk if the weather is nice. An even easier drive in any weather."

"L'appartement tout neuf dans un bel immeuble, au calme, au rez-de-chaussée avec un petit jardin privatif est idéal pour passer un excellent séjour.Très bien équipé, nous nous sommes sentis chez nous de suite.Je ne souhaite qu'une chose, y revenir pour visiter encore la région et profiter de cette belle ville d'Amboise.Vous pouvez réserver sans crainte !"
