"I loved the hotel, my room was clean, modern and even had a kitchen area.
The owners were very responsive when I contacted them with a question about my stay and they couldn’t have been more helpful.
I had a great stay and would stay again"

"Great room. Lovely hotel. Would have been 5 stars but we were missing towels, coffee cups, glasses and milk. Staff were helpful and very good location"

"500 year old hotel in a very pretty town. Great room with everything needed for a short stay. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate. Very friendly staff. Stayed here last year as well and will definitely stay here again."

"We have stayed here four or five times now and always such a nice base to visit family close by. Always a warm welcome and great breakfast to start the day. Warm room and comfortable bed. Shared bathroom is kept very clean. Free parking is a bonus."

"As we arrived late we had to do the auto check in via the lodge keypad, they keypad didn’t quite work for us as expected but the staff on site soon came to our rescue. The property is lovely and is finished to a premium standard, unfortunately we didn’t have time to eat in the restaurant but the menu looked good, we would definitely stay here again if we were in the vicinity. "Excellent stay, quiet room and good food. I suggest staying in the main building, as the annexe is far from everything, and the path between the annexe and the main building can get slippery on rainy days (and it rains a lot in England). The wine list and beer selection need improvement."

"Perfection and historical elegance at the highest level. The most comfortable bed I have experienced in a hotel in many years. The grounds inspire with their cared for beauty. The architecture of the manor house is extraordinary. We shall be returning! "

"The front desk staff Vaibhav forgive me if i have spelt his name incorrectly. Was happy, courteous, knowledgeable. He went out of his way to accommodate our needs to have a great weekend. The staff in the restaurant made you feel like you was part of their family. We have travel extensively and we can say that our room was top tier. "
