Great house, poor communication

House was lovely and in a great location. Was very spacious and well equipped apart from lack of recycling bags and washing up equipment. Was hard to get hold of the owner and get check in instructions. I had to chase a few times and get vrbo to chase them. On the morning of check in I was advised to transfer a security deposit of a few hundred pounds to get the check in details. It was all fine but I was nervous we wouldn't get the details in time. I also had to chase to get the amount refunded after the booking. Would stay again but better communication would be desirable.

We really enjoyed our stay here!

The location was perfect, just a short taxi ride away from Milton Keynes Bowl. The property has everything we needed and more. It was clean, comfortable and just the right size for us. We would definitely come back again!

Good if you know what you're going into

The property was clean although a bit tired. Quite a few fittings hanging off. Note there are 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, not 3 bathrooms as advertised. Bedrooms functional but very cramped. The owner required a £300 deposit via bank transfer in order to release the keys on the day of check-in, and then didn't refund or communicate for a week after the the rental, despite me making numerous calls and messages. Refund came eventually, but communication was non existent.
