Hotels near Millender Center Station

"The staff was very friendly, and the location of the hotel was excellent. The rooms were not the cleanest, but well equipped, and the bed was comfortable. The internet was not working in our room while we were there which meant the television did not work. This is not a huge deal as we were there to visit, but it would have been nice to watch a movie before bed. I inquired about this and was told they would have a maintenance person look into it. I am not sure if they did as I was never informed. It would have been nice if they offered a discount of some kind because of this. There are many homeless people in the area, and they approach you as you enter and leave. I thought they could have done something to reduce or eliminate the problem. I never felt unsafe just an inconvenience to have to step over or around them."

"The stay was great. The staff was awesome, they helped my wife and I a lot. The food was great, we ordered dinner and breakfast. The portions were big and food was good. There were a few things that turned me off. One of the TVs had dirty fingerprints on it. The only disposable coffee cup had what looked like lipstick smeared in the cup. "

"They're trying to have an avant-garde hotel. If you know anyone who is a minimalist this is the kind of hotel it is. It was clean enough. Looked well enough but there was old paint stains on the floor. The bathtub stopper would not stop the water when I wanted to take a bath for no kind of safety bars in the bathroom tub area. The elevator was broken so you had to walk twice as far to get around or take the stairs three stories down and there's a bus that takes you up. Trumbull pretty far north if you want to go that way you can walk to the downtown area if you felt like it. It's about a mile and a half. There's a little restaurant right next to the hotel. They have very good food. It's actually a brewery so you can do taste testing there if you want. But the food is decent. Little spicy for me but very good. The bed was comfortable and there was one comfortable pillow but I think it was overpriced. I paid $250 and I looked up the street at the joffrey hotel brand new place,up the street which is half of that price. And the entrance to the bathroom had a raised threshold. I tripped twice."

"The Inn is a beautifully restored row of Victorian houses (mansions, really!), with guest rooms across several buildings. The room I was in was on the cooler side. I noticed a space heater in the closet, but I was only there to sleep and enjoy a lower temp for that anyhow, so my Michigan spring stay worked out well. A lot of amenities you might expect to find in a modern hotel (coffee maker, clock, phone) are non-existent in your room, but do exist in the common room of each building. My personally experienced drawbacks were that some shades would not move up or down, very little toilet paper and tissue paper in the room, and some housekeeping neglect in the corners. Also, I booked a deluxe queen but feel I was put into a standard queen room. Overall, a 3-4 star experience, but I am leaning towards 4."
