"Staff were extremely polite and helpful, especially Molly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Parking was great and easy. Convenient location for The tank museum. Highly recommend. "
"I've stayed here multiple times and it is a gem. Located close to the Bovington Tank Museum it has cozy rooms and a wonderful pub with a solid menu, including being extremely good for people with food allergies. I have celiac disease and having several gluten free options (e.g., starters, entres, deserts, beer, etc) at a small hotel is unexpected. The staff is also extremely nice and helpful and even put together a gluten free tradiitoonal breakfast to go since my train left before they opened breakfast."
"A lovely old building which could have been so nice but it really wasn’t. On the plus side it was warm ( October stay ), plenty of hot water, a good location for visiting the coast - Durdle Door, Lulworth Cove, Weymouth. Unfortunately it smells very damp and is in need of upgrading. It also should have been cleaner, especially the kitchen. The surfaces were sticky and greasy, the seals are mouldy and coming away from the walls and worktops, there was mouldy bread in the bread bin. In my opinion overpriced for this standard of accommodation "
Delightful thatched cottage in beautiful sleepy Dorset village and countryside
10/10 Excellent
"Lovely cottage, we ordered food through the host which was amazing and great to have on our arrival. We did some lovely walks to Dorchester and Osmington. Cottage clean and had all the necessary amenities including a large fridge.Lots of character including a few low beams."
"Lovely little place ideal for single person or couple, though could take more. Denise was an excellent host, very good communication and left a range of helpful supplies. Quiet rural location - well situated for exploring the area around. I would happily stay again. "
"A lovely little B&B. Louisa and family couldnt do enough for us. She was very welcoming and gave us top tips for our outings. The room was clean, tidy and the facilities were excellent, with a special mention for an outstanding breakfast."
