"This is the second time I have stayed due to the convenient location for work. I’ve had the warmest arrival on both occasions. The room was lovely. The bed extremely comfy. And the little touches such as fresh milk and brownies are a bonus treat. Exceptional."

"Lovely Georgian house in Dorchester High Street. Parking available nearby. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean room, Residents lounge if you want somewhere quiet to read. Good breakfast. Host very friendly and provides good information on things to do in the area and recommendations for places to eat nearby. We stayed four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit."

"We had the best family time 6 of us my sister my 2 daughter and 2 nieces x was absolutely wonderful. Great swimming pool good bar . The water sports were fabulous . Lots a sightseeing close by wonderful location . Amazing house ."

"Having stayed at Yoah Cottage with 8 members of our family last year, we were delighted that it was available again this year, so we arrived this time with the addition of our baby granddaughter.Everything was as good as we remembered it, the cottage was very clean, with the exception of a few cobwebs, but this somehow added to its charm. The beds were clean & comfortable with nice linen, showers & bathroom were also good. Had a couple of meals at the New Inn next door which were fab!There were just a couple of things that could do with addressing:The sink plug in the master bedroom shower room wouldn't hold water due to a faulty seal.The wi fi instructions we were given were completely wrong, I believe the router is in the pub and there are 3 wifi extenders throughout the cottage, we figured out that you had to log in to the extender nearest the TV to access wifi, then it worked & we were able to watch the football as long as no one else in the cottage was browsing the internet.The garden furniture was quite old & rickety, especially the two chairs, which we didn't feel safe using.If these small issues were addressed, the cottage would be perfect, having said this, we would have no hesitation in recommending a stay there. We'll probably be back next year."

"Clean, comfortable, quiet and very well equipped cottage on the outskirts of Dorchester. Easy walk into town centre and easy to get to coast and rest of West Dorset. Communication and arrangements with owner were very good. We'd stay here again and have no problem recommending it to others."
