This was a very comfortable room, very close to the Duomo, the metro and with cafes and restaurants close by as well. Because of a flight delay, we were not able to check in until 2am and someone was there within minutes to take us to our room.

The staff here is hard to contact if you need anything. The room was very noisy! The staff didn’t even inform us that there was construction going on. Mind you, the drilling lasts all day and starts at around 9 a.m.! The staff is rude and inconsiderate. It’s unpleasant to step on the bathroom rug — it’s dirty and old. However, the location is perfect and close to everything.

Had air conditioning issue on first night where no cool air was blowing. Unfortunately staff initially weren’t able to help, but we were able to change room following day. Management should ensure that all air conditioners are properly functioning especially during the summer. Otherwise great location.

Room was very centrally located; there is a Metro across the street. The area around is full of stores and dining options. Loved the balcony. Although it was very close to a very busy street, it was not that noisy inside the unit. Would stay here again.

The room was very nice, the check-in process was a little confusing and the hotel entrance was hard to find. Otherwise it was a perfect location, steps away from the Duomo and lots of shops and restaurants!

If you are looking for a simple but nice room close to the Duomo and the metro, this is the hotel. Although it doesn't have the usual hotel amenities, the room and the bathroom were spacious. The coffee machine in the room was a great addition. Internet speed was good. I would stay here again.

Very roomy for two. Super clean from bedroom to bathroom. Coffee, water bottle and some snacks provided. Tiny elevator and hallway looks creepy but wowed us when we reached our room. So far the best we’ve got on this trip.

There is no reception so we needed to call a number and wait outside for a staff member to arrive. Once inside the hotel is very unique. It is clean and in the heart of Milan.

The property had very nice in room amenities such as coffee, water, and candy. Also slippers, a good blow dryer, and toilet gel. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was super responsive to our needs, they may not be in the building but definitely one short phone call away. The lift is very small, but two plus size people barely fit, and it got us upstairs, which is vital after a day of sightseeing.

The check in process was difficult. Their phone was broken so getting in touch took a little while. The pictures do not necessarily match the rooms. Overall, you are paying basically for the location. It was right around the corner from the Milan Duomo which was great! But don’t think I would stay here again.

The building itself is old, but the room has been renovated beautifully—surprisingly so—and was spotless with all necessary amenities. The location couldn’t be better. Since no staff are stationed on-site, you need to ring the bell outside the entrance (which isn’t immediately obvious) and wait several minutes for check-in, so it’s best not to schedule anything too tightly around your arrival. Once the staff member arrives, they are friendly and helpful, and afterwards you can enter the building freely with a key card. For check-out, you simply leave the key by the pillow and go. The only thing I wondered about was how quickly they would respond in case of an emergency outside business hours, but I never had the need to test this because the room was perfect and trouble-free. There is a small, antique-style one-person elevator located about ten steps up from the entrance. Overall, it was a place that genuinely made me think, ‘I want to stay here again the next time I visit this city.

This place needs a renovation, a front desk and more cleanliness. Our bathroom was not cleaned and the toilet lid was broken with mold growing on the walls. At arrival, there is no front desk, the entrance is shared with another property and you have to call a number to have someone come give you keys. Save your money and book elsewhere for the same rate. I think the only reason it’s still in business is its proximity to the duomo but Milan is so walkable you can easily stay elsewhere.
