Hotel Poma has very good transport links, the staff were friendly and welcoming :). The room was kept clean while we were out. Finally the bed was comfy and generally a great place to stay if you want to be close to everything.

Liked: Staff & service
Dreaded prior to arrival because of the reviews
However the hotel was great for the money! Staff were very friendly and helpful! Would stay again!
Clean and very friendly staff…. but that’s it in terms of positives. In other places this would not be 3 starts at all (2… maybe): the furniture is old and falling apart, the walls need serious paint and going around to check if the windows actually close would be great.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
If you’re looking for a place to sleep with the friendliest of staff, this is it. This place has no frills. Knobs were missing in the closet, no where to hang your towels…but the staff were amazing. So accommodating, cared for you as family. Would highly recommend this place.
It was a nice room. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was hot and had good pressure. The biggest complaint to speak of is that the elevator is very slow. You literally can walk up faster to the top floor and back down before the elevator makes it to the 4th (top) floor. The walls could use some paint and a larger TV would be nice. Otherwise, a great stay.
Was not as clean per all previous reviews, room was extremely tiny that we could not open two luggages as there was no space. Seemed to be ran by a few men, who alone were extremely helpful with us and answered all of out questions and were very kind to us despite the circumstances.

It’s not actually a 3 star it’s more like 1 or 2.
No door in shower. The water is coming out everytime you shower. It’s wet all over the floor. And AC doesn’t work, it’s broken and it’s 95 degrees in Italy when we went.
The bathroom has molds/mildew on walls, tiles and grouts. We had to wear slippers/flip flops every time we use the toilet and even while taking shower. Not good for respiratory health.
Extra charges like parking and AC.We paid 58 Euros extra for these services that we already paid on the website.Broken bathrooms and dirty. They charged city tax for the kids.(YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO CHARGE CITY TAX FROM UNDER 18 YEARS OLD).
We want our money back!
Multiple parts of the room were damaged.
- Door handle fell off
- missing half of the shower door
- shower and sink just had a hole rather than a proper fitting
- we had to ask for the aircon remote at reception and then the aircon kept having an error. We turned it on 20 times during our single nights stay.
The entrance of the property was ugly and dark and the flags on the photo were nowhere to be seen.
The only good thing about this place is the nice staff and the cheap price.
DANGEROUS. WARNING! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
I came here with my family and still feel sorry that I put them at risk by brining them to this hotel. The rooms are INHUMANE. I will let the pictures do the talking. Mold everywhere, stains everywhere, dirt everywhere. Truly a health risk for anyone staying here. PLEASE PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE, it is just a matter of time for the police to come here and shut this place down. Read the other reviews please!!
This is the worse place we ever stayed with my family I never recommended even to book this place specifically who are traveling with kids there was two guys at the reception they don’t know how to talk to a customer and they were very rude acted like thugs ,when I get there room air conditioner was not working and when I inquire about it they they said it broken you you have to stay with out it and it was very straight forward answers and he didn’t even give us any solutions that day Italy temperature was 34c and in that hotel room bathroom cubicle has no door and dirty bed covers terrible condition ,I think they are using that hotel for different purposes please don’t go with your family
Myself my son , best friend & her son booked this hotel out of desperation (our booked apartment cancelled on us just as we landed in Milan ) it was a 48 hr trip for my sons 21st birthday , Ac Milan we’re playing at home and this hotel was the cheapest we could find and not too far to travel from central Milan .
The man on reception was abrupt & rude and we paid the tourist tax .
There was a tv in the room no remote , the bathroom was horrendous , broken shower door , rusty towel rail , broken toilet flush which made noise 24/7, we were left 2 towel packs even though there were 4 of us .
The light next to the bed was broken and uncovered .
The beds were made but the actual pillow had blood on .
On return to the UK I asked for a refund but was told I didn’t meet the cancellation requirements , which made no sense at all .
I would still like a full refund
And I reccomend to any one with children DO NOT book or anyone in general
So disappointed
Bathroom was very disgusting, Shower area was more disgusting and dirty, we didn't had shower 4 days due to dirty shower and hot water was not coming from from shower had and hand hold shower was not giving water properly. Toilets was also disgusting flush button was broken as well as dirty Toilets. Bead and pillow was smell and was not very clean and nice. Room was very cold in the mornings they only turn heater on in the evening and not have a heater switch in bedroom. I will never recommend anyone in
POMA HOTEL DISGUSTING
VERY DISAPPOINTED
100% TRUE FEEDBACK
ITS CHEAP BUT NOT LEAVING STANDARD
