Room really cosy and clean affordable room in a busy local pub . A fun bath , but don't to draw the blind 😅.
Landlord andStaff couldn't be more helpful.
Pub breakfast great.
Right nice place to stay! Very old pub with rooms, quaint, and the food was all excellent! Ita not a luxury place, I’d give it an 8.4 overall, but the price was right and we loved it.

Liked: Cleanliness
Room was lovely and clean. Bathroom wasn’t quite as glam as the bedroom, more basic.
A cute pub with a bit of edgy decor. We stayed just 1 night but didn’t dine there but instead found a table in the bar for a drink. It was very busy on a Saturday night, obviously the most popular place in the town.
Friendly staff, lovely room, great breakfast and pretty location. Can recommended.

Helpful frendly ,welcoming staff.Large room(althogh a little dark)
Sadly, there appeared to be no hot water available in our bathroom on our first morning,(despite running the hot water tap for about 10 minutes),so we were unable to take advantage of the wonderful looking freestanding roll top bath.
On our sacond morning, this had been resolved ,and there was plenty of hot water to be had.
The downstairs dining/drinking areas offer a quirky blend of old and new features alike, which
adds to the character of The Swan inn
The Food/restaurant menu,(although slightly limited, in our opinion )turned out to be of good quality, and represented excellent value for money, and the portion sizes are as stated are indeed"large plates"!!
My wife and I were impressed by the free(on the
house )addition of a side of Broccoli in cheese sauce ,and the tot of Limoncello,at the end of our meal.A welcome and unexpected personal touch, for which we were grateful.
Breakfast on both mornings was good ,with an excellent choice of hot cooked food.
Overall ,a pleasnt stay ,which made our time down in the Midhurst/Chichester area more bearable, since our trip was funeral based.
In conclusion, if you are looking ,for somewhere
central to stay, with good honest hospitality, food, drink, and character, then The Swan inn and Hotel in Midhurst is to be recommended
Overall a great stay, staff were friendly and even told us that breakfast was included which we didn’t know.
Food and drinks were good too!

Very pricey for an okay hotel.
Room okay - not great - en suite so small.
Breakfast was okay - missing cereal and other breakfast nicities but cooked breakfast was good.
It was really easy to check in and out and our room was just perfect. The breakfast cross the road in the coffee shop was really nice , for us it was perfect
Lovely, quirky old property in Midhurst which is a very pretty town. The bed was very comfortable. The shower could get very hot so you need to be a little careful. It is a very old building so these things are to be expected. Breakfast was very good. All staff are friendly and helpful. I would stay again.
The Swan Inn is in a great location. Easily accessible. The Inn has a great atmosphere and the rooms are comfortable and clean. The food and service is very good too.
Excellent - room was clean and spacious with usual amenities. Staff were very friendly and could not fault the great customer service. Restaurant and bar were great. Food was particularly good!
We were guests at a wedding in the Walled Garden, although no taxis available the venue is within easy walking distance of the Swan. Clean and great hospitality with a great choice of breakfast options.
The hosts were extremely friendly, welcoming and accomodating despite me srriving in extremely busy time. Was given a beautiful and comfortable room overlooking the church and churchyard.
Cycling tour overnight stop. Room was basic clean and tidy. There was a music beat from the bar until 11:20pm but after that it was peaceful.
Staff were all friendly and helpful.
Arrived early and they very kindly let us check in , as we were going to goodwood races . Stayed in room 3 , very quirky , great bath , really comfortable bed , nice and clean , with a lovely view of the market square and the little touch of a bottled water was nice .
Returned after races and has a few drinks in bar , which is a great bar , friendly staff and good range of drinks and food
After a brilliant nights sleep we went down for breakfast . Great choice , free tea and coffee , and a really good breakfast.

Bit unfair but when we stayed it was a hot evening with no breeze so the room was rather toasty as there was only a small window in the bedroom. While there was a shower you had to use it in the bath tub which being over 70 we found uncomfortable to use. other rooms might have been better - we were in room 3.staff and breakfast arrangements good.
