Not 'right down town' but that was fine. Couldn't fault staff, had to move rooms when we checked in because AC died ... Seamless operation! Room was a good size & very clean.

Value for money this hotel was fantastic. We had a huge room, with kitchen . Only negative was a noisy air conditioner.the hotel provided a Continental breakfast and a dinner of delicious Meatbalks in our room rate of US$125 + taxes - great value ;))

The rooms were clean and spacious (we had a 2 bedroom suite), and the jacuzzi and pool were nice. The ocean views were lovely.
We were a bit surprised that our room was not serviced, and that the breakfast offerings were very slim.
The location is great - an easy walk to the Cliff Walk.
Overall it was a good stay.

The temperatures were soaring and we craved a day at the ocean. We found the Rodeway for a very affordable rate at the last minute. The room was clean, comfortable and safe. The AC worked great. The free continental breakfast was adequate (cereal, toast, bagels, apples, pastries, coffee, tea and juice). It's located right near the Newport border, so if you like to walk it's less than 2 miles to downtown Newport. We grabbed a map in the lobby and biked and walked everywhere: the beaches, Cliff...
