"We spent a week at Law Brook Farm Cottage and we had a lovely stay. The views across Yorkshire from the main window are amazing. The cottage is very well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. The shower is great. As the weather was not kind to us, we benefited from the log burner in the evenings and so felt cosy and warm. "Lovely cosy cottage with a fantastic view. It was quite a walk to the nearest pub but very close to lovely walks for the dog. We were staying over Christmas so visiting family on most of the days but able to spend a couple of evenings in the cottage. Some lovely touches with the fairy lights and the procseco to celebrate the season. Would love to stay again in the summer and be able to sit out with a glass of wine and admire the view. "For starters the host is lovely and very accommodating. The cottage has parking for 2 large cars which is ideal for the size of the property. Everything inside the cottage was clean. The decor suited the property. Everything you needed was there and I loved having all the blankets. The hot tub was fantastic. I really can’t fault the property at all. I would definitely come back. "A large and immaculate house. Perfect for large family group of various ages. Kitchen room was lovely and great size bedrooms. We made use of the hot tub a number of times. The games room was very disappointing though. The local area has a number of attractions and perfect for few days away."

"We loved the location and felt very much at home in a comfortable home. Particularly liked the armchair in the window overlooking the reservoir. We were walking 7 “Ethels” in the Dark Peak and all were easily accessible from Martha’s Cottage so ideal for our purposes. Pie Night at the Pickled Pheasant was also a nice discovery!"

"Great place for a short stay. Clean & good facilities bit of confusion over payment…. Thought paid up front but hotel said not… so this is main reason for 4 not 5. Also close to late night pubs/ clubs…. So if you’re wanting to go to see early… probably not the place for you as the music can be quite loud. However, not an issue for us & slept really well. Ultimately good value for money & would stay again."
