"A family owned motel that was family friendly. My son really enjoyed the water slide and I appreciated the hot tub after a day walking around Cedar Point. I really appreciate that they thought to give us cold water bottles upon arrival which we needed after a day at the park. The breakfast was decent not just continental and included a pancake maker, boiled eggs, yogurt, baked goods, and cereal."

"This is our 2nd stay here. We appreciate the 1hr early entry to Cedar Point. Location is close to the park and restaurants. The room seemed damp the first night, pillows, sheets, floor. Not sure if it was from the AC. The large freezer was nice to freeze some water bottles for our cooler. Overall nice stay and we will be back."

"The rooms were very well cleaned and so was the hotel. The waterpark was awesome and was very nice for my two small children. The only problem during my stay was check-in . When we arrived at 4pm for check in we were told our room was not ready yet and that we would receive a text when it was. They allowed us still to go into the waterpark just a little inconvenient after you pay all that money to stay. 2 hours later by 6pm we still didn't receive a text so I went to the front where they told me my room was ready.... Overall it was a fun time and my kids loved it though."

"Haven’t been in a few years and I was kinda disappointed with a few items. 1) pools and hot tubs were very dirty. I wouldn’t even get in. 2) we had breakfast at Perkins and they gave our granddaughter a color sheets and had no crayons! 3) I think the drink bracelet is a rip off. The refreshment stands are few and far between. Won’t buy the drink or food bracelet again. Other than that of course prices were through the roof but the room was very nice."

"We love staying at the Clinton Inn primarily for its location. The lake-front lawn, with lounge chairs facing the water, is magical as the sun sets over the nuclear tower to the west, and herons, egrets, and gulls soar back and forth, along with the activity of marine traffic. The hotel itself is a little shabby, which suits us fine, but be sure to request a second-floor room as "balcony" also refers to first-floor decks, either right by the public walkway or parking areas. All rooms may be pet-friendly as well, so if that's a concern, ask directly. Our rooms have always been a bit less than clean, but overall perfectly acceptable. The staff is very amenable in our experience as well. Plus, restaurants are nearby, and the town & beachfront are lovely for walking."

"Arrived for check in hour after the time, room was not ready, ac not turned on so room was hot and muggy upon arrival, no towels or wash clclran towels upon arrival, trash never picked up as asked on check in, overall place was clean and worked for our stay, if you have a wheelchair user make sure to ask for a first floor room at booking as there is no elevator only stairs. Just a few small issues as stated above."
