"The room was clean but had some ants. Breakfast was okay, with lots of choices; however, if you are staying more than 2 nights, it is the same exact breakfast every day. Overall the staff was helpful."

"I got checked in just fine. Staff was very helpful as I wanted the sheets changed when I arrived as both beds the sheets had round spots sporadically on them. The lady at the front desk had them changed immediately. I checked those and they were nice and clean. Later while being in the room found out the fireplace not working which I assumed they disconnected just would have liked to use it. I absolutely loved my view and enjoyed my balcony. I am a single mom who wanted a nice place to visit as my kids are grown. Had the complimentary breakfast they offered a variety of food which was so nice. The beach was so beautiful and clean!! I really liked how they had chairs for everyone to use. They even had an area in the hotel that offered hot coffee, tea and fresh water available at all times loved that. I enjoyed the pool and hot tub as well. They had fresh towels available too. They have a workout room but I didn’t have enough time as I enjoyed being outside and enjoying the beach some and going to the park which is great for kids but I enjoyed the walking and seeing the beautiful beach and gorgeous water!! Definitely will stay here again if it’s not overbooked as I think I got lucky bc the weather is still cool at times but for me it didn’t stop me from enjoying the water. "

"The room was a little musty smelling in areas. I should have said sometging but our view was worth it. The price was great and I would stay there again. The cleaning staff was exceptionally polite and hard working. "

"We stayed for a week, 6 nights in a King Balcony room. Fantastic service, views, and atmosphere. Our favorite part of the motel was the bonfires nightly from 7-10pm on the beach, looking out at the lake. Highly recommend."

"Room above us was leaking into our bathroom middle of the night. Had to be moved and down graded, as there were no rooms left that matched what we had. Was not given a refund. Otherwise nice property, polite staff, decent breakfast included. "

"I recommend having something simple on the menu for those who wish to have something more traditional to make appealing to everyone. We were in the back area. It would have been nice to have had a couple chaos and table outside our room. The hotel was far from full so moving to outside our room would have been much appreciated for our personal experience. "It was a very quaint cabin. We had a lot of fun staying there. Used the fireplace a lot. We had a beautiful view of the Michigan Bay and Lake Michigan. It would definitely be a place we would rent again."
