"Upon walking into the hotel there was a strong ammonia or disinfectant cleaner. The towels had stains on them. The bed linen made me and my guest feel itchy. There’s a tall sliding window that someone from the outside could have access to which made me uncomfortable. It appeared that some one was video recording me from there second story floor room. I’m not sure what my neighbors were doing but I can hear loud raking and activity next door. If some one wanting to they see into the room via peep hole to the room. Parking was at your own risk. Overall it made me feel uneasy and the scenario a bit sketchy. "

"The staff and room were PERFECT! "

"Unfortunately, the service by the pool and by the beach were horrendous. It wasn’t the fault of the waiters. They tried their best food took forever well over two hours to make it to the beach for lunch one time one of your outlets was closed and you actually closed the kitchen and there was nowhere to get lunch except for sitting down there were horrible college kids and underage drinking on the beach happening everywhere on the property. During spring break, there must’ve been 500 freshman from university Wisconsin. Like a keg fest on the beach.. The pool constantly ran out of towels and I couldn’t get a chaise lounges . The concierge only stays till 6 o’clock and after that if you need something, you have to wait on a very long Front Desk line to ask anything. The concierge’s actually keep banking hours and not hospitality hours. It’s very weird."

"Great Hotel, Great Location. The restaurants on Espanola Way (very short walk) were amazing."

"This is a remodeled older hotel. There is no pool, no breakfast. The beds were comfortable but unfortunately the a/c did not cool the room. We were on the 6th floor and the room was way too hot and we visitedin April before it was too hot in Miami. If a/c is important to you, this is probably not the place for you. It was less than 10 minutes to the airport and there were gas stations nearby and an IHOP next door. The elevator was sketchy. We thought we were stuck on the elevator a few times but it finally opened."

"The hotel is in a great walkable area with several restaurants right downstairs and only a block from the beach. The only issue was that when we checked in and were admitted to our room, the elevator in our building was out of service, so we had to walk up three flights of stairs with our luggage and then down again for checkout. Once there, we realized there were no towels in our room for showering. We asked twice and waited over an hour with no towels. When we were leaving the room, we ran into housekeeping and asked again, and finally received towels. "

"Not what i expected "

"Overall we enjoyed our stay. However, we did not love when house keeping came in our room. To preface, we didn’t have any dressers, counter space, or sink space to put items. Fine..I had everything organized, all my hair things. Clean clothes on one side of the suitcase and dirty on the other, all organized. Same for my husband. When house keeping came in they flipped our suitcases closed so it was just a mound of clothes. For why you ask? They didn’t even clean the floors so idk. They knocked my things off of my nightstand to the floor, I guess to wipe it down. All my hair items were on the BACK OF THE TOILET. I thought maybe it was to wipe the 1inch of sink space I had. Nope. Nothing was wiped down. Every time they came in, they took our towels that were hung up and didn’t replace them. We hung up the placard so they just would not come in. They still did. Other than that issue, the hotel was fine. It did the job. It was also quiet at night, which I didn’t think was possible in that area. Also, I ordered a drink and didn’t realize it was $60 until another guest let me know. Insane for a drink. "
