  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

Great service and great location. The rooms are very nice as well spacious enough for four people. The valet service could improve, though, as you always have to approach them versus them approaching you Lots of restaurants, nearby and lots of people walking the streets. Felt very safe. There’s also a mall connected to the hotel.

My stay at EAST Miami was amazing. The room was spotless, modern, and super comfortable, and the staff and overall vibe were great. The only small downside was that there weren’t any utensils in the room, which would’ve been helpful. Other than that, everything was excellent and I’d definitely stay again.
