"The hotel is relatively new and therefore the facilities are in great conditions. The decorations and furniture give the place a nice ambience. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Overall I enjoyed staying at Best Western in Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne."
"The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are a little tight, and the service can be a little slow in the lobby at busy times, but I would recommend the place without hesitation. It has a fantastic family atmosphere, too."
"The hotel itself is fine and the staff are excellent. But to describe the hotel as "ski-in/ski-out" is wholly misleading. The exit/entrance involved a dangerous traverse across about 100m of sheet ice. The hotel itself recommended against using the route, instead suggesting using the free shuttle. That runs about every 90 minutes, so is basically useless. So don't stay here if you don't want to have to drive to the resort each day. Also, don't make the mistake of buying the full Paradiski...
"Super nice grandma managing the b&b helped by his family. Lovely and close to ski slopes by car (20 mins). Of course not a luxury location given the price, but very good price to quality ratio.
Call before to organize the checkin!"
"Room did not look like photos. We had to make our own beds!!! The hotel is in a remote location where the restaurant and local grocery store were closed. The hotel staff did not inform us ahead of our stay, forcing us to drive 60 minutes both ways to find the nearest play to dine."

"La Grange de Marie was a perfect place to stay for the week. The 5 ensuite rooms are all excellent, with great balconies to enjoy a beer after the day's skiing, watching the sun go down over the mountains. The location is very good, just a short walk to the free shuttle bus and the closest lift and run, with the village centre only 10 minutes walk away down the hill. The place was very clean, and one minor issue with the gas supply was sorted out within half an hour, very impressive!"
"Our family of 4 (two teenagers) spent a week at this apartment at the start of April and it met our needs perfectly. The apartment was ideally located in meribel center, a short walk down hill to chaudanne for lift access or even closer up hill to the tourist center where an escalator gives skiers access directly to the Doron piste - ideal to then ski down to Chaudanne to access the valleys. The apartment also has a beautiful bakery almost opposite for morning pastries and is only a few hundred metres to the SPA supermarket for all day to day needs. The apartment itself was ideal, 3 spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms and a terrific kitchen and living area with all needs met. It has a terrific balcony facing west so captures the afternoon sun with views of the surrounding mountains. Communication with the hosts was extremely easy and checkin straight forward. We would not hesitate to stay here again (opportunity permitting) as it was a great apartment perfectly located in Meribel Centre."
MERIBEL CENTER - LOVELY CHALET FOR 8 - PARKING -
5MN SKI SLOPES - DIRECT OWNER -
10/10 Excellent
"Where do I start?! The Chalet is perfect for 8 adults - plenty of space, 4 bathrooms, a large kitchen that was well appointed for the evenings we decided to cook in, and a nice cozy basement living/family room with comfy couches for lounging. There is a dedicated ski room with boot dryers and ski racks with tile floor so you can come in and out from your days on the slopes without making a mess! The beds were comfortable, and the washer & dryer made freshening up towels and clothes a breeze. The chalet is situated further from La Chaudanne (the main base area in Meribel) but is a 5-7 minute walk in ski boots (definitely uphill, but a good warmup to your ski day!) to a free shuttle (Line A) that runs every 15 minutes in the mornings & evenings and every 30 minutes midday and later at night. This made getting to the base area so easy every day.The hosts provide plenty of resort maps, which were so helpful in planning our days. Les 3 Valleés is obviously massive, but traversing the mountain takes quite a bit of planning if you've never been!Jean Noël personally greeted us at the Chalet upon our arrival, and walked us through the home and made himself available if we needed anything during our week's stay. You're a 5-minute walk to the SPAR grocery store, which has everything you'll need for your stay (we needed to buy handsoap, toilet paper/paper towels, etc) and is not overly expensive.Cannot say enough great things about this property and would love to return!!"
