Absolutely loved our stay here, what a well set out place, the property is immaculate and the hosts were just lovely. The breakfast is fab, I could not fault the place. we will definetly return and I will recommend to friends.

Really enjoyed the stay. Room was excellent. Clean, fresh, classic. Tub and heated bathroom floor were particularly nice.

I booked with this accommodation because of past reviews I had read. Room was very spacious, very clean and cosy. Large bathroom and also spacious kitchenette area. We had a very late check in and staff were more than happy to accommodate us even after hours. Would definitely stay here again.

Probably the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. The room was near new, after recent renovations and extensions, and the bed had not had much prior use. Plenty of kitchen, dining and lounge space, big beds and a sensible toilet-bathroom layout. Plenty of space in bedroom and bathroom for personal use items too. My room was next to the side street and driveway entrance. Surprisingly very quiet, with no main road noise at all. WiFi is free, fast and plentiful. Hosts are friendly and...

Place was clean and had a great kitchen and was quite.

Nice new, clean hotel in a lovely setting. Staff were all really helpful and Kev the concierge was amazing.

We stayed here to break a longer journey into two smaller parts. Very comfortable room. Nice pool. Did not use any of the other facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly.

We found ourselves at this Hotel because every other place anywhere the venue for the Eagles Concert at Mt Smart Stadium was booked out. It turned out to be a brilliant choice because the Motorway was a complete nightmare any where near Auckland so we chose to drive north to Papakura where we left the car at the "Park & Ride" at Papakura Railway Station" before boarding a suburban train to Penrose where we were able to walk to the venue, At the conclusion of the concert we did the reverse back...

What a great place to stay. Handy having a great pub across the road for meals. Staff, especially Natasha, went above and beyond to make our stay great. Thanks. Deb Carey

Very convenient for our 1 night stay visiting family before heading back to Aus

Very unique camping ground that needs New Zealand old school camping

The managers Aaron and Danny are amazing, professional, yet very friendly. They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings. Our meals, prepared by the master chef, Franz were as good as we have experienced in any restaurant . Only the finest ingredients selected by him. Presented beautifully with attention to detail and creating wonderfully unique taste combinations. We cannot recommend Te Karaka Lodge highly...

It was clean had kitchette

The rooms are very small and basic and in need of a lick of paint. The room was clean and the bedding crisp and white. Don't expect any amenities in your room, they are basic and in a communal area in the hall. But that is explained in the room described. The showers and toilets are also communal and along the hall and are nice and clean. We were fortunate enough be given free upgrade to the Delux Ensuite Queen room by the owner of the hotel. This was very spacious bedroom with a very large...

Room was spotless, spacious just perfect for myself and husband. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our stay even though it was just for a night. Would definitely recommend to family and friends who’s outside of Auckland and are looking at a place to stay. Thank you for your hospitality.
