"Everything about the place was just brilliant. It would be the sort of place where if i decided to relocate to work and live, the lodge would have been the perfect place to stay."

"Breakfast was below average in my opinion. Good but not good enough for 4-star hotel charging those prices. Also surrounding is too quiet with not much to do. I would recommend staying in St Ives instead. Much more vibrant."

"Lorena and Dan were so friendly and helpful. The property is set up on a hill with gorgeous views of Saint Ives. I received a free upgrade and the room was spectacular. Highly recommend. Short walk into town for good restaurants and shopping."

"Great location close to parking and right opposite the station. Owners are a lovely couple and super friendly. Breakfast is amazing, lots of choice but the traditional full English is one of the best I’ve had "

"Hotel is right on the waterfront with a big car park across the street for easy parking. Hotel is reasonably modern and well looked after. Walking distance to everything.
We had an accessible (wheelchair) room and the open wetroom bathroom that has many dirty-wheeled wheelchairs rolling over it needs to be cleaned much more regularly."

"Very clean and well equipped. Nice area, close to other cities and beaches in Cornwall.
The swimming pool was advertised as 24-hour full access but in reality was open only from 10am to 6pm and needed to book every day for each session.
The private spa tub was advertised but missing. "

"Our room was spotless and all the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Kat in the restaurant who went out of her way to make sure everything was ok"
"This is the best B & B I ever stayed in. The accommodation is superb, The house is beautifully decorated and adorned by marvellous paintings by a local artist. The hosts Pablo and Grove are friendly, welcoming and generous. The breakfast menu was excellent, everthing is homemade and in the afternoon we were offered tea, coffee and amazing cake. The only disadvantage is that you have to drive elsewhere in the evening for dinner though I believe the hosts can provide additional meals if requested. This is a wonderful place to stay"
Delightful quiet space, very close to the town & promenade.
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful space, tasefully decorated. Host has thought of everything you could possibly ever need during the stay. Lovely to have fresh bread, butter and selection of preserves, and milk. Plus the bonus of bottled water, and 2 cans of alcohol. Close to high street, shops and restaurants etc. Perfect place to unwind. Will definitely be staying again"
"This property is a perfect bolt hole for anyone looking to explore the south west tip of Cornwall. It’s just 20 or so minutes from the train and main bus station. The house is well equipped with leaving you everything you’d need for a trip away. The kitchen has all the tools you could want and there’s even two sitting rooms with TV’s in them. The three bedrooms all have double beds. We did have an issue but the owner was very proactive and sorted it without fuss. Often you don’t know how well people are prepared to look after you until something goes wrong. I’m pleased to say in this case communication was good and the issue sorted quickly. Transport links near the house are great and there are loads of great places to eat in town which is easy walking distance. "
