"We stayed for weekend friday to sunday. The Hotel is a traditional scottish village hotel doubling as village pub, with an old fashioned layout including a seperate entrance for the bar. So to use the bar you actually leave the hotel and re enter the bar. Some will find that quaint and charming The room was comfortable, clean and warm and everything worked. Breakfast was excellent and service was attentive. This is a small village hotel not a chain. Service reflected that, nice and attentive but not as many amenities. We enjoyed our stay "

"I had a blue badge so parked at front of hotel , I would never have made it up the hill . Room needs a wee refresh paper peeling and bathroom ceiling damp patch . Staff amazing in every department. Laura on reception an asset to the hotel , very helpful and friendly. Bar and restaurant staff very polite and friendly. Would definitely come back . Lounge so nice to sit and relax with coffee or bar drinks ."

"Not the place to stay if you’re working nightshift! After advising on check-in I would be working nightshift to then be put in a room beside there office and the staff shouting up and down the stairs to each other on the two days I stayed."
