About this property
The Coppin Street Cave
Immerse yourself into the Richmond energy with this residential take on its industrial past within this dynamic 1 bedroom ground floor apartment. Nestled at the back of this architect designed boutique block, this stylish concrete hideaway is super spacious, warm and beautifully balanced with a private deck to enjoy breakfast in the morning sun. A great spot between Bridge Road and Swan Street, an easy walk to the MCG.
The Coppin Street Cave is dubbed by the architect as part of the ‘Richmond Six Pack’ and is a reinterpretation of the 60s era apartments that popped up around the urban streets. Highlighted with polished concrete floors, exposed concrete ceilings, warm timber veneers and award winning bright yellow barn doors, it creates bold yet grounded warmth to your visit to Melbourne.
Completely secluded with only a common security entrance, this sophisticated apartment features a private entry hall with coat cupboard, a spectacular open plan living and dining with work from home desk/study set up, queen size sofa bed and a 4-seater circular dining table; a designer kitchen with Fisher and Paykel appliances, Nespresso coffee pod machine and all you need for a hot breakfast, quick lunch or pre dinner drinks. Two corner barn doors separate the living from the gorgeous bedroom with its recycled cypress pine queen size bed that sits perfectly in the warmth of the room, catching afternoon sun with its own lightwell, and featuring bespoke wardrobes and a sublime black and white ensuite featuring a walk in shower, mirrored cabinets, toilet and vogue basin. A European laundry, equipped with its own combo washer/dryer gives you peace of mind when you want to travel light.
Stacker sliding doors open to the fully decked courtyard has its own automated café awning, so you can still enjoy the fresh air when it’s raining or if the start of the day is already showing signs of extreme heat.
All this, and you can enjoy the comforts of ducted reverse cycle air conditioning, video intercom security and the quietness of double glazing to achieve complete rest.
An unforgettable stay for those who want to see some of Melbourne’s world class events, be close to family in their time of need, have a shopping trip at Victoria Gardens with some Ikea inspiration or attend business in Melbourne’s own Silicon Valley – Cremorne aka ‘Silicon Yarra.’
Guests have full range of the entire apartment. Please be aware of neighbouring residents, ensuring all are entitled to quiet enjoyment.
