If it’s tranquillity and bird watching you enjoy, step out onto the generous deck.
At sunset, grab a bottle of wine and head over to watch the sun go down over the water each night.

Relaxing beach getaway

Beautiful beachfront appartment, home from home everything you need for a relaxing stay. Spacious, beautifully presented appartment close to shops and restaurants with bus stop outside. Very good communication with the hosts from booking to arrival and check out. Very informative hosts able to provide lots of recommendations, thanks for a great stay

Beautiful views and wildlife. Close to shopping and restaurants. Short trip to Ferry, Arthur’s Seat, beach and Sorrento shopping. Apartment is bright, modern and exceptionally clean.

Gorgeous Apartment

Leigh and Rob are lovely hosts and made everything so comfortable and easy for us! The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is sparkling clean! Really comfy bed and couches and such a great location! Leigh and Rob are so kind and friendly helping us out with restaurant recommendations all of which were amazing!! We loved our stay and have already recommended Capel Sunrise to our friends!!

Lovely apartment, handy to everything!

Leigh’s place was squeaky clean, super well stocked, and very pleasant. The weather turned miserable during our stay, so it was a wonderful place to hunker down for a couple of days. We love to cook, and the kitchen was very well equipped, so we easily whipped up a few meals. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you like eat out, and we enjoyed the local beaches. Leigh was an attentive host, checking in now and again, and was lovely to deal with. Highly recommended if you’re heading to the Monington Peninsula!

Beautiful apartment with everything you might possibly need for your vacation and more. We stayed there for a week and wish we would have booked for the full 2 weeks we were in Melbourne. Hoping to make it back again. Leight and Rob were amazing and always answered any questions I might have.

Excellent property

We stayed 3 nights at Capel Sunrise and the property was just what we needed. The unit was extremely spacious and contained excellent facilities. We really enjoyed the balcony for restful afternoons. The checkin process and as easy, and Leigh and Rob provided regular updates that were very useful. We certainly took advantage of local tips they provided. Overall it was an excellent stay. Thanks to Leigh and Rob for their assistance.

Nice apartment in the middle of the peninsula. Close to supermarkets and short drive to good restaurant options. Spacious with good facilities such as kitchen utensils and TV, games etc. not quite the aspect we were expecting but not many places on this end of the peninsula have close proximity to the beach or beach views due to the road and the foreshore camping sites. Rosebud is ok, but Mornington and Serento are nicer towns. Owners very helpful and communicate a lot so you can’t go wrong in accessing the property, car park or local food options.

An outstanding apartment with fabulous hosts. Close to everything we needed, including shops, restaurants and central to every local attraction you can think of. Leigh and Rob provided everything we needed, especially clear directions, access instructions and an apartment with all the mod cons. The beds were so comfortable :-) Can't wait to get back.
