Bad wifi connection, no access to the television channels or YouTube on almost everyday of my stay. Told the staff about it but no result whatsoever. Stayed for 12 nights and spilled tea on the bedsheet on my second night. Guess what? No change of bedsheet till I checked out! I’m really disappointed with this hotel

This outage was unprecedented in Jazz Corner Hotel's history, and we understand the frustration it must have caused.We apologize for the lack of immediate resolution to these issues despite your reports to our staff. We want to assure you that we did provide compensations to guests who reported these issues to the front desk as a gesture of goodwill. Would have rated it excellent but the TV did not work the whole weekend . What is the point of saying there is a full kitchen (which there was) but nothing to cook with.

This place is a real gem in the heart of the business district. Lots of great restaurants in walking distance. Huge market is 5 minutes away. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I especially want to make mention of the staff that cleaned our room, simply amazing. I will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Jazz Corner Hotel during our trip to Melbourne to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. I had informed the hotel about this and informed them that I was an Expedia Gold Member as well. Upon arrival we were informed about our upgrade, which was really nice. Check in was easy as well. We were upgraded to a high floor (28) studio apartment. It was a spacious studio and had a really lovely balcony with a city view. Housekeeping was done each day and they did a good job each time. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy a Jazz show as tickets sold out quite quickly but we were able to watch some past shows on TV. We want to give a shout out to Ben. He was the bartender that served us our drinks one of the nights we were there. Sweet guy, recently started working there. He was still finding his way, but he had good customer service skills and made a really good Moscow Mule on his first attempt. Overall, friendly staff, really nice location, close enough to the main city, but distant enough that it's not loud at night time. Trams stop right in front of the hotel which is handy for those who don't rent a vehicle. The views all around are really nice as well. I would recommend staying at this hotel. Definitely will be one that my husband and I will be returning to.

I really enjoyed my stay at this funky hotel. The commitment to provide a Jazz influence was beautiful managed. The art work in the room complemented the beautiful jazz music in the lobby. The cleanliness was amazing and the location was exceptional.

Good location, great city views and very comfortable bed. The only downside was the aircon in our room broke down when the temp was over 37deg. The reception was closed as it was just after 11pm and there was no after hours number to call. We had a very uncomfortable night and were not offered any compensation.

I had stayed at the Jazz a few weeks before and had a fantastic room. Sadly, on this occasion I was in a room directly facing an office block which meant I had no daylight whatsoever and had to keep the lights on at all times. There were also various annoyances in the room such as the shower made a groaning noise, the lid of the kettle kept flipping open creating steam in the room and boiling water going everywhere. On the last night the shower room fan would not turn off. Very disappointing after such a wonderful first stay..

Convenient to free City Circle Tram and the Flagstaff bus & rail service. Secure access into building. Woolworth's nearby. Numerous dining options. Good location within CBD. One time mini bar/snacks were free. No pots, pans, cutting board, cutting knife, and the like. You had to check them out at the front desk! Mini frig is better described as a micro frig. No drawers for clothes, we had to store them in the kitchen shelves.

Great hotel in a convenient spot in Melbourne. Spacious room with a very comfortable king sized bed. Trams right outside the front door so easy access to everything Melbourne has to offer. The fact that there is a great jazz club in the basement of the hotel is an added bonus!

Quirky but good
A bit of an unusual layout having to take 2 different lifts to get to my room. Bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in, like a cloud. Lovely big spacious room. Restaurant adequate, small with limited menu options. Service slow but pleasant. Location good. Awesome jazz music and theme throughout I’d definitely stay here again

We travelled to Melbourne with our two extra large dogs for Christmas. We loved the hotel - it is located directly opposite a park; and we loved our room - it was roomy with a kitchenette, table for 2 and a couch. Plus the hotel staff were super lovely and helpful. We will look to stay again next time we are in Melbourne.

The room was spacious and had a little balcony overlooking the park. Staff were super nice. The bed was very comfortable. Room had washing machine microwave and fridge also stove and oven. The jazz club below was fantastic as were the staff there. Would recommend this hotel.

Great stay
Mini holiday visiting Melbourne. Catching up with family and friends. The hotel is a great location, walking distance to CBD, victoria markets. Trams close by and not too far from souther cross ststion. We were on the 29th floor and the view, especially at night, was spectacular. The rooms and hotel have a jazz theme. We received, from the hotel, two complimentary tickets to a jazz concert at Bird's Basement. Highly recommend this hotel.
