"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Violeta! Our room was very clean and Violeta was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed breakfast and evening drinks on our large terrace with a view of the sea. Air conditioning was great. Location was very quiet as it was short walk from the busy town of Hvar. We would definitely recommend staying at this hotel! "

"Beautiful home on the hill with an infinity pool overlooking a private bay. This is a little piece of paradise outside the noise and the hustle and bustle of Hvar town, but only a 10 min drive away. The owner, Tony, is very friendly and accommodating and will drive you to town for 13 euros each way. It is about a 45 minute walk. Very secluded and peaceful! Perfect for a romantic get away or for families, but come prepared as there is nothing near by but 2 quite pricey restaurants.

"The hotel was perfect, we had our room upgraded which really made the stay amazing. Morning breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day. We ended each day in the spa before heading out to dinner! The location was nice and close to the marina and town center which was good for us as we were only there for a few days. Our room was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated, with a balcony overlooking the peaceful bay. The views were beautiful, especially in the early morning and at sunset. It’s the perfect place to unwind after exploring the island.
The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful — nothing felt like too much trouble. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and varied, with lots of local touches. We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it was excellent — fresh seafood and delicious local wine.
The location is ideal if you’re looking to escape the crowds of Hvar town while still being within easy reach. The only minor downside is the cost of taxis, which were consistently €20 each way for an 8-minute journey into Hvar — a bit steep given the distance. However, the quiet and natural beauty of Milna more than made up for it.
