"Hvar in April is very quiet so be mindful when visiting - not much is open. However the hotel is so beautiful it will really not make much of a difference. Received an upgrade to a suite which was incredible and felt like royalty.

"We were greeted at the port by a gentleman from the hotel with a cart to take our luggage to the room. We enjoy to walk so we continued on foot on an amazing waterfront path for about a 10-15 minute walk. We checked in to the hotel and were escorted around the facility and shown all amenities. "Having access to the seaside without the ‘hustle and bustle’, was the best feature for me. Plenty of sun loungers available, serviced by F&B staff. Located away from the centre of town, but walkable distance. Staff were very helpful. Book massages before you arrive to ensure availability. Breakfasts were delicious. "
