"It’s a gem within the hustle & bustle. It’s a townhouse building within the residential area for more authentic local experience. 8mins walk to the main train station and 5mins walk to the Main Street - ZhongShan Street, 2km straight road full of eateries. The host was very nice and friendly, room was spacious enough and clean. Was a pleasant 4days stay for us. Highly recommended."

"The owners were a lot of fun to talk to! They were very friendly, and it was easy to relax with them at their bed and breakfast. (the cats were a bonus!) They also had some good suggestions for local places to eat. The room was large and clean, the area was quiet, and it wasn't too long of a walk to the seaside. I would definitely stay here again."

"We found View Ocean is a quite special B&B. It is family-run, and the owners are extremely kind and helpful. We booked a sea-view room and the view was speculator. The room is a bit outdated, but it had everything we needed. The hotel is also close to Dongdamen Night Market which was very convenient for us."

"These are rooms in the house where the family lives. It was a bit of a hassle to take off our shoes outside. The room was clean and in better condition than the hotels we've stayed in! The staff were friendly, and communication was seamless via smartphone translator. It's close to the train station and the bus to Taroko."
