"Fantastic location, but disappointing in so many other ways. First of all there was no booking when we arrived and when it was eventually sorted it was made clear the management thought we had not paid enough through the booking agent we had used. We stayed for 7 nights and the room was never cleaned, not even once. There was a regular smell of sewage from the bathroom and the room was very tired. "A beautiful property with very attentive and considerate staff. The area itself was very quiet. If you are looking for somewhere with a lot of shops/restaurants in walking distance, this is not the property for you. But the quiet was a nice change of pace for 2 nights on our journey. "

"Such a lovely hotel, situated on a quiet, beautiful beach. All staff here and at the sister hotel a short walk away were amazing, with a special mention to Rosin and Nedmina (sorry I couldn’t quite remember your full name!) We loved being able to swim in the sea just outside and walking along the beach. A great, comfortable base for exploring the South Coast. Lovely food too-eating on the beach was a real treat!"

"Lovely hotel was being repainted as we stayed just out of season. The pool and restaurant were great and the staff were very helpful. Be aware the hotel is a little remote from anything else out of season and there no real entertainment around out of season, however the area looks like it would be lively in the season but please note the hotel is still a fair walk to the next bar or hotel and 20 mins to the main strip so tuk tuk will be required "

"I can’t believe the number of problems we had with this hotel. We’ve travelled to 77 countries and this stay was one of the top disappointing hotel experiences we’ve had given the expectations of a five star hotel. If rated as a three star it would be been a disappointment but not intolerable such as it was."

"We loved our stay at coco tangalla. The staff was welcoming and kind and the location was amazing. The property is beautiful with a great pool and beautiful view of the beach (although you can’t swim there because of the rocks, but it’s great to watch crabs in the rock pools!) - food was very tasty (egg hoppers were especially good) and the room was comfortable and practical (not huge in itself but the bed was comfy and there was storage for our bags under the bed, and the bathroom was big). There was turndown service too which is always a nice touch. We’ll be back for sure! "

"This hotel has basic amenities and it's proximity to the beach is wonderful. The service is exceptional and the people who work there are so wonderful. This is not a luxurious hotel by any means, but would I stay here again, yes I would. Basic comforts were provided, including a mosquito net over the bed and a mosquito repellant plug in (much needed for the third friend who didn't have a mosquito net over her single bed). We were upgraded to an ocean view room on a top floor (lots of stairs), so we spent the majority of the day at their beachside cafe called Happy Lab. We came in April, so waves a little high but we managed to enjoy our time in the water. We took a stroll in the evening to check out other nearby beachside restaurants and settled on dinner at The Twins. Everyone was accommodating and we had a lovely time."
