1265 square foot home located 0.2 miles from Silver Lake ORV sand dune entrance. 3 bedroom home with a kitchen, living room and all-season porch with 3 patio door for beautiful view and a gas fireplace. A shaded yard and a fenced area for dogs. Centrally located for all outdoor activities. The silver Lake area has something to do for everyone, fishing, canoeing, swimming, hiking, biking, walking along the sandy shores of Lake Michigan or yeeting thru the sand dunes in your off road vehicle or side x side. Seasonal attractions like Mac Woods dune rides, Little Sable light house tours, Craig’s cruisers, shopping, Icecram shops, Chicken shack, Hart-Montague bike trails, local wine tours, golfing, Lewis Adventure Farm and Zoo. Day Trips to Ludington, Manistee or the Baldwin trail system. For rentals use Silverback rentals or Wave Club boat rentals. So many memories to be made!

Fantastic Stay

The cottage was perfect for our stay and is in a great location. The house was very clean and the four season room turned into the perfect hangout spot. The coffee and s’mores bars are a great touch and the kids couldn’t wait to have a bonfire. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Silver Lake area.

This place is amazing! The house is lovely and very comfortable. Jennie has gone over the top on making her place inviting. She has thought of everything (even a supply of creamers in the mini fridge by the coffee station). Every time I turned around- there was another surprise that Jennie thought of. It is clean, quiet, and close to the lake. We will be back!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Extremely close to the dunes. House is in a nice quiet neighborhood. I think our dog enjoyed it the most! The host was fast responding and provided us with everything we needed. The back room was awesome! Can’t wait to come stay here again.

Perfect home away from home!

House was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could possibly need! Was warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Fireplaces and coffee bar were a hit for our group. Everything You Need For Your Stay Is Here!

This beautiful home has everything you need for a fun visit to the Silver Lake State Park area! There are so many wonderful hostess touches including lots of board games, a coffee bar, and a s’mores bar to name a few. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had and the house was cleaned extra well since I have an allergy to dogs. We had a wonderful time and had everything we needed for our stay. You will love this home!

Fantastic rental!

Upon arriving, we were able to park our trailer at the home until our 4pm check in time. The host was gracious, and promptly responded to questions. The sun room in the front of the home was perfect for socializing, evening games, and morning coffee! The bedrooms are simple and clean each equipped with a small box fan in addition to a ceiling fan. Outdoors, there a basket of toys for both kids and pets including a small sand hill. Our stay was perfect!

This place is amazing. Clean and I mean spotless, modern and updated in its entirety. They even thought of little things you might have forgotten ( toiletries, med cabinet) . In relation to the ORV park, its right around the corner, literally 1/8 of a mile. You can air down in driveway and roll in. We will be returning

We have been coming to Silver Lake for six years and Sandy’s ORV Sweet Retreat is our favorite so far! Not only is it beautiful, but the owners have thought of everything to make your stay perfect! We loved everything from the fully stocked coffee bar to the S’more bar to the “oh sh$$” cupboard!! (a fully stocked cupboard with all the bathroom/personal essentials you need in case you forgot yours!) It was in the perfect location to the Dunes and Mears. The layout of the house and backyard (along with small fenced area for our dog) was all perfect! Owners were very friendlier and easy to work with…we will definitely be back!

We absolutely love this home and location. The home and the property couldn’t be more prefect. Last year I packed all kinds of things because you just never know what the home will be equipped with. This year I packed much lighter (my husband very much appreciated that!) because it had everything you might need. I think my favorite thing is the fireplace. Now I want one for my cabin! Thank you so much for letting us use it again.

Really nice house, great location, great host!

House is literally right around the corner from the Dunes entrances. Great location for everything. Pictures don't do it justice! This house is in great condition inside and out and the host has left just about anything you could have possibly forgotten plus games, smores kits, pancake mix, everything! Comfortable beds, huge shower, smart TV, nice kitchen and fridge stocked with condiments. It was great!! Will try to stay here again if we come back to Silver lake. - Easy access to all dune areas. - Parking room for truck and trailer. - Area seems pretty safe. - Beautiful home. - Great host. - Comfortable beds. - Everything super clean. - So much extras provided by the host!

This is our second year staying at Sweet Retreat and we absolutely love it! It is the cutest, coziest place. Very pet friendly! They think of everything from extra toiletries you may have forgotten to an extra leash and poop bags! We will definitely continue to stay here!
