Holiday Homes in Mears

"This is the perfect house to stay at for a large group of families + kids. We picked this house for 4 families, while we ended up having sitters, we will definitely be using it again for weekend trips to the dunes. We were able to fit 3 trucks and 3 utility trailers (short bed/14-16 ft trailers) with JUST enough room for a 4th. We recommend backing them in however, it is on a main road so that can be slightly tricky when you first arrive. Loved having the wrap around deck/porch. It did end up raining a little bit while we were grilling but a normal sized canopy fits perfectly right over the grill area so if there is a chance of rain and you plan on grilling/sitting outside just keep that in mind! Once we left I thought we had left something behind and Jon was very responsive and was able to check with the cleaners to see if they noticed it (turns out we had it all along) but just the steps he took to check was very reassuring! Definitely worth it to stay here, and we will be back without a doubt!"

"We had a wonderful time vacationing at this cabin. The cabin is well supplied with towels and kitchen supplies! We had everything we needed to cook meals for our family! We enjoyed the large deck and hiking trails! It is also in a great location. Secluded but still a quick drive to all the activity! We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Mears!"

"We pulled in late in the afternoon, easy entrance to the Cottage with instructions provided. Just as pictured, very clean, WiFi provided worked well. We didn’t need anything other than food and toiletries… plenty of room inside and a fire pit and grill outside. 3 full size beds, was a tight squeeze for my husband and I, because our Poodle Cookie is used to sleeping in a King…lol but we managed. There is a light above the kitchen table, we both bumped into that light “several” times…. Ugh. If I have a complaint, it is because there is no dishwasher…. I knew that going in, but it would be nice as we were on vacation to not have dishes to wash… The nights were cool, and the furnace kept us nice and toasty… There were no surprises with the Cottage and we enjoyed our stay…"

"House is in a good location with many activities nearby. Very nice backyard and house was very clean. Property manager is quick to respond. Short walk to the dock with a lovely view of silver lake and the dunes. Would stay here again."

"This house is beautiful. We’ve stayed here multiple times and plan on coming back. Just walk across some sand and your at the water. You also can look out and watch the sunsets over the lighthouse. The house is so clean and well appointed. The owners are responsive and can tell they take great care of the house."
