"We absolutely loved our stay at Camp Summerwind for my bachelorette weekend! The hosts were amazing from start to finish. We spent months planning and they were always quick to respond and incredibly helpful, even with the smallest questions. They also made coordinating with our private chef super easy. The house was perfect for our group of six, with comfortable beds, great indoor and outdoor spaces, and thoughtful touches like firewood already stocked for the Solo Stove. We especially loved spending time on the decks and dock. My only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to use the kayaks or enjoy more of the community amenities! The location is fantastic, close to both Hudson and Kaaterskill Falls, and the hosts provided great local recommendations. Whether you’re planning a family reunion or bachelorette this place has everything you need. We’re already trying to figure out when we can come back!"

"The house is as gorgeous and gracious as it is described and shown in photos. We were welcomed with a bottle of bubblies upon arrival-a welcomed detail after a long day driving to our destination. The kitchen had everything and more that anyone can need for a 2 night stay but we can see it being very comfortable for longer stays. Our hosts live just down the road so it was a nice bonus to be able to meet them. Great location and stay. Wish we could have stayed longer."

"The host, Jody was amazing. He did phone walk thru of the house when we got there to make sure we could use all the equipment which was extensive. He kept us updated all during our stay and was generally a great host. He really cared that we had a great time. It was a family vacation with four generations and there was something for everyone. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed and the outdoor kitchen was amazing. The big hits for our family were the pool and the karaoke."

Charming Cottage in Private Lake Community (Pet-Friendly!)

"Very clean, very well equipped, super close to all the activities we had planed for our short stay. We do have pets although we did not bring our dog but if we had WOW it would have been perfect. The owners thought of anything anyone traveling with or without pets would have needed. Plenty of space indoors and out. Also we usually pack a few extras like trash bags, toilet paper, dish soap etc when staying at a rental home. You never really know how well a home is stocked. We did not need any of that. They left more than enough supplies. Actual quality supplies like thick paper towels, soft toilet paper, good trash bags, good cleaning supplies. Comfortable furniture and beds, nice bath towels and linens. Beautiful and historic area of upstate New York. Hopefully next time we will have more time to explore."

"The house itself is on a beautiful piece of property and the view of the river is stunning. The house is built in the early 1900 and has beautiful bones. it appears to have received extensive remodeling in the early 2000’s. Overall, a beautiful home with very eclectic decor. Some ways we would suggest improving the listing would be to deep clean the house inside and out. the kitchen drawers were sticky and kitchen was not user friendly. The refrigerator was dirty and there were cob webs and dust in places. Dishwasher was not unloaded when we arrived. You can tell the owner made an effort to think of the small things to make the home welcome, such as k-cups, mini toothbrushes, etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the view on a sunny day cannot be beat. "
