"Steve’s property was incredible! My friends and I did a 4 night stay at his beautiful cottage and all had an amazing time! The place was clean, the listing was accurate, the water/lakefront was beautiful, watching the stars on the deck at night was great, and best of all, Steve was a fantastic host who promptly responded to all questions, reached out to see if we needed anything, and provided ample instructions and suggestions to ensure our stay was as good as it was. I cannot recommend this property enough, and I cannot recommend booking with Steve enough. Would book here again in a heartbeat!"

"Nice location, surprisingly quiet room given the road runs in 30 yards in front of the property. The room has been well maintained. Drinking water in glass bottles was a nice touch. The room was very large and looked somewhat "underfilled" - which produces an impression of the room not being cosy. The bed was comfortable though the mattress could been firmer. Good quality linens, at least by modern budget hotel standards. Having a showerhead on a hose was very nice. An old school low bathtub would have been better than the shower stall though. Would definitely recommend to anyone going to North Bay"

"This hotel gives good value for the price, the beds are comfortable except for the pillows which need to be upgraded and maybe the comforters. The breakfast is adequate and the counter staff were very helpful and polite. The location is very good for getting around North Bay."

"Overall this place was amazing and exactly what we had hoped for. Pros: Overall - beautiful inside and out. Would stay again in a heart beat. Remote in the sense no neighbours, no excess noise. I saw a few bad reviews about the AC but we had no issues and it was a very muggy week. Wifi worked great. Once we had wifi the communication with hosts was amazing. Cons/improvement opportunities: fire pit area is rather small for a rental that could sleep up to 16. Check in process was rocky as there was no cell service (not their fault) and we rented a boat from the owners, but it was not there so could not get to the cottage right away. They made it right but just a kink in our first day. The dock needs a little bit of TLC, parts of it would go under water at times. Some items weren’t on site that were mentioned in listing."

"Dan and Pam were excellent hosts and truly care about their guests. We stayed for a week spent primarily fishing but also had a chance to enjoy the heated pool and hot tub. The home itself was clean, well maintained and the kitchen well supplied. The outdoor BBQ fired up immediately both times I had a chance to grill. We had an excellent stay and would definitely consider returning again!"
