The view of the ocean is amazing. The host was professional, everything worked fine. All the beds were to our surprise very comfortable. It's quite except for the traffic from hwy 101. It was hotter than we thought it would be, wish there was shade on the deck of the house. It was a very enjoyable stay!
What a beautiful view off the back deck! Excellent continued communication with the owner. Wonderful local recommendations provided. Comfortable. Nice/clean hot tub on the deck that we ended up not using, but should have!
This was a wonderful home for our 8 day stay. The home is welcoming and comfortable. It’s well equipped for preparing meals, The 180’ panoramic view of the expansive farmland, the bay and the ocean is incredible. Wonderfully comfortable deck to relax and dine and soak in the hot tub. It’s a brief drive to Mad River, Clam, Trinidad and Moonstone beaches- which are all dog friendly. Biking thru the farmland and onto the Hammond Trail out and back is a beautiful, moderate ride. And, our dog loved running around the large, fenced back yard. A 45 minute drive around lagoons and along the ocean to the Redwood Forest and Gold Beach and Fern Canyon and hiking James Irvine Trail and Miner’s Ridge trail is remarkable. Elks herds along the way. Amy was a very nice and responsive host. It was comfortable for the 2 of us, and, the home is big enough to very comfortably host a large family.
