"I am a lifelong Oregonian and yet I haven't really spent much time exploring the Mckenzie River area. This cabin was in a great location, right on the river and so close to hot springs and beautiful hiking. It was quiet, quaint, and had all the kitchen supplies we needed to eat at the cabin. The screened in porch was a dream, so nice to drink our coffee and read in the morning. It felt pretty private even though there were other cabins on the premises. We really enjoyed our stay."

"With Dee's clear instructions, we had no problems finding our cabin and making ourselves at home. We were delighted with its tasteful decor and its comfortable layout. The weather was perfect so the porch was our favorite place; with its perfect view of the river, it was where we relaxed, spent hours talking and ate in style. As a cook, the kitchen had not only everything I needed, but had quality equipment - a true delight to cook in. And nearby restaurants and store filled in our "food" needs. We had come to the McKenzie to recharge and that is exactly what we were able to do. Thank you, Dee, for being such a great hostess."

They can take my two dogs who are just as part of the family. Jon Mahoney is a wonderful Person to deal with. He’s always there for us and has all the answers to our questions. "Original Password for Wifi was incorrect and with 3 remotes for TV , we couldn't find the instructions. While staying connected was a low priority with the beauty of the area and cabin it could have been clearer so we could just enjoy the area a little longer but we will be back !!"
